Analyze audio and apply effects and filters to it.

Praat is a program whose main function is to be able to deeply analyze certain audio and so get detailed information on all its characteristics. To each of the audios you can apply certain effects for optimization, manipulation, insert filters and give it more intensity for better quality.

With respect to the analysis that Praat does, it generates a series of reports that can be exported to EPS format; it also lets you batch process that analysis. For programmers it`s interesting that on the author`s webpage you can find the source code of how this program was done.

This Praat download is for Windows, but on the author`s website you can also see another one for the Mac.
